Service providers and suppliers have experienced pending bills. There has been delayed payments to an excess of more than 190 days leaving most of them broke and auctioned.
Uasin Gishu has experienced unscrupulous property owners who charge excessive good will that has made doing business very expensive. A bill has to be passed to cap and manage this menace so that access to property to do business is available.
Insecurity and poor lighting have made 24hr doing business very difficult. More lighting in town and expanding estates to happen e.g. kiplombe, kapseret, annex e.t.c
Industrial area in Eldoret KIE has poor infrastructure and they need proper amenities and more space.
Uasin Gishu has no government owned free economic zone. The one currently available is private owned making it difficult for farmers to do value addition.
Establish economic forums in Eldoret to discuss Uasin Gishu economic status and opportunities.
Have full engagement between the private and government to fully operationalize Moi International Airport into an economic hub.
Harmonize cross county permits. Have one licesnce instead of many statutory requirements.
Capacity build for the youth/women on establishing business.
